Is Posting on Facebook consuming your life?
Posting on your blog, or Facebook doesn’t have to be a chore, and you do not have to do it every day. In fact, for some of my clients, I rarely go on Facebook more than a couple of times per month. That doesn’t mean there are no Facebook postings going out on their page. So how do I do it?
There are two ways, actually. First of all, I have a WordPress plugin called Jetpack set up on all of my client’s websites. Each time a post goes out on their WordPress blog, it is pushed out automatically as a post to Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn. Then I look for publications with information that is relevant to their business and I preload the social media pages with those links and schedule them out at intervals right on a Facebook page, and in between, other posts will come from their blog.
Social-Cindy also loads up amusing stories, inspirational quotes, and links to different pages on the client’s website. That way, even when a blog post is not scheduled to go out, the site is still getting attention, and my social media accounts are driving traffic to the various key areas of the website.
