We all saw the news about the quality of the tap water in Detroit. After that fiasco, it sure is difficult to trust any tap water, isn’t it?
What is the problem with regular tap water? While tap water is a healthier option than soft drinks and other sugary drinks, it is still not optimal for our health. According to the Environmental Working Group, there have been 315 pollutants found in America’s tap water since 2004, and over half of these pollutants are completely unregulated and can legally exist in any amount.
When we lived in Dana Point, our tap water actually smelled pretty awful. Here in Florida, the tap water doesn’t smell awful, but it doesn’t taste all that great. It has a slightly metallic taste. Now that I am drinking the Engagic Kangen Water, I really notice the difference. Even the water I get from my fridge, which runs through a filter, has a bit of taste.
So today marks the 7th day on my water journey towards tummy wellness. You know how sometimes when you have a health issue for a while, it’s just there, and because you have a life to live and work to do, you just push it to the back and keep on trucking? Well, when I began drinking the Kangen Water, I felt okay during the day, but in the middle of the night, my stomach was getting very queasy. I thought, oh boy, another thing I try that’s just not going to work. But then I remembered Ambika, ( my homeopath) telling me when she gave me remedies, that at first, as the toxins are freed up in my system, I might actually feel a little worse before I felt better.
I didn’t actually notice it right away, but for the past two nights I no longer had that nauseous feeling at night, and I am starting to feel better in general. So, we are making progress.
Check-in next week and see how things are progressing.
